The Atlas V. What a strange trip it has been. I have had the opportunity to sit a few chairs down from the launch conductor for the launch. I did some communications work and a controlled the video displays as well as monitored power applications and procedural issues. Very exciting, since this is the future of the American space program!sBam! I’m back I’m ready to go… from the roof tops shout it out! Baby I’m ready to go… 10 seconds and Launch.sBTW, on all the video productions you can hear my voice counting down the launch sequence. You will hear the voice of Atlas actually doing the countdown, but you will hear me say 20 secs and 10 secs. in the background on the command channel.
