Yeppers, I’m still awake, and I have no idea why. I’m doing some laundry, and you know how exciting that is. But atleast I have a good Beatles CD to keep me company as I figure out what I want to do this evening for another 30 minutes or so, until it’s all done for the evening.sSo much to do and not much time to do it, so it seems. It would seem that the job of cleaning up things never ends. I need a break. Just to really relax. But it just doesn’t seem that I ever get one. I would just like to kick back and let some things go on occassion… but that just always present itself as a viable option.sWell, since I’ll be working on my College paper next week, I figure I should have scant daily dribblings, but there will be something here for sure. On the other hand, it will be mostly complete by next friday, so then I can concentrate on some new and exciting projects, such as my myriad websites and some stories and screenplays that I have been putting off for way too long.sWell, this is good.sI took this picture with my digital camera on a cruise to Nassau recently.s-J

Well Now, time for bed… and what are ya gonna do? I’ve been moving patio blocks all day. Over 50 of ’em, and my body is sore. I can’t wait to get a good night sleep. I know that it’s a good workout though. I’m trying to get a bit of weight lifting in, but who knew it would be from working out in the yard. Maybe I’ll post a pict of the finished patio. I can’t believe how much writing I’ve done with this LiveJournal. I’m glad to get back on track with writing. I think that this has really invigerated my creativity, and I’ll be able to move forward from this self-analysis, where I put my thoughts. The occassional voyuer is always welcome, and comments are always encouraged. Hey,sWell, I’m just sitting here getting ready to watch the Replacements on Max. I thought I would post this little note for the evening before a satdown to relax.sWell, catchya later with a bigger posting! :)s-Js

Thing seem to work themselves out, for the most part. While I’ve still not gotten anywhere with my Navy Issues, I still am working on collecting paperwork and attempting to get answers. sThat rug issue is really just a minor thing in the big scheme of things. They will be back soon, and that will be a non-issue in the end. You just gotta keep ’em honest. I was really upset though because these installers went to lunch and came back smelling like smoke, but not the normal type of smoke, if you know what I mean.sI’m totally against drugs and their use. And while I don’t care what people do in the privacy of their homes, I surely don’t want it brought into mine. Some people are stupid to think that their use/abuse of different substances, such as Alcohol, Tobacco, and other drugs are undetectable by others.sI have never participated in any illegal substances, and don’t have any intention to ever do so. I don’t see a big deal in having a few beers on the weekend, but don’t come to work drunk. sThe bottom line is that my house smelt of that nasty odor for a few hours, and I was happy that they left when they did.sAnd now, a PoemsThe Myths———–sBy JuddsThere are times when people make you think that things are one way when they are not.sIt’s a myth that I speak of.sNo, these things are not a conspiracy, and they haven’t lied.sThey truely believe what they say.sThey truely inspire to speak with integrity.sBut it is just a myth.sIt wasn’t the way they said it was.sIt wasn’t real.sIt was a Myth.sTruth becomes fiction hence forth, forever more.sCheers,s-J

Just a note:sI had some carpet installers over to fix the seams that were coming undone on my carpet. Well their tool broke and now it seems that they can’t complete their task. When will it get fixed is anyone’s guess.sWhat to do?

I posted this to someone else’s Journal but thought it was something I’d like to see here in my own journal. This is my thoughts concerning this Pledge of Alligence thing. I can remember being in Kindergarten and leading the class in the Pledge. I was something I can only remember doing with pride. Learning the importance of patriotism is part of good citizenship. Without it we truely will have anarchy. But being a good Citizen and Patriot sometimes mean that we will defend and protect the rights of others, even if we don’t agree with it.sAmericans have been divided on many topics, Racial Integration, Alcohol Consumption, Women’s rights, Voting rights of 18 year olds, and many many more things. sI don’t see the Supreme Court Upholding this verdict, yet in someways I wonder why they wouldn’t. As you read below, think of yourself as the people who fled Europe to escape persecution.sHere’s some objective opinions on both sides of the issue. The people who came to this country some 350 years ago (James Town 1600’s) and then those colonists of the 1700’s were looking to escape religious persecution. They were the minority in a world that regarded themselves as being out of touch with the given truths. The irony is that we may be “Persecuting” Atheists for not believing in G-D. This should be abhorrent to anyone who can see the analogy. Yet, Our Declaration of Independence and other critical works of the founding fathers definately acknowledge a Creator/Supreme Being. Historical revisionism is not a correct was to solve this problem. The declaration of Independence states: “All men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” or something close to that. Removing G-D from our society does tear at the fabric that it is based on. While I don’t think that it was founded on any one specific religious ideology, see B. Franklin or T. Jefferson, I do think that there was still an air of spirituality that has been undeniable for the entire time that we have been a nation.s-SailorJ

And here goes nothing. That’s about the size of it anyways. Today we got some new leather lazyboy couches and I went to the dentist then worked out. ok Now that tedium is out of the way, what’s left?sThe adventures with the Navy situation continue to get more complex, and I’m not sure where to turn. But I will try to work on the first person who brought information to my attention, and that is DCC Lachausse. Seems that he knows more than he has been giving. We’ll see how it goes though.sI’m supposed to instruct some courses next month, but I don’t even know what the topics will be.sI’m also studying hard so I pass this silly exam that I am taking in August. Well, I’m ready for another day of it at the ol’ rocket ranch. I am working on getting that Bachelor’s Degree. I figure another 10 pages ought to do it. I’m working on a paper in Advanced Public Speaking. It’s not going too bad, but I feel that I don’t have good established evidence. I may be wrong though, even though I have written a sizeable amount suggestions based on my own personal experiences.sGo USA!
