I needed to see this. I felt like everyone was staring at me last night when I went out to the bar. I even could see fingers, like maybe people were pointing at me. My friend turns to me as I was getting frustrated and said “so what if they are?” It changed how I felt after that. Whether people are saying nice or mean things about me, if they even are at ALL, it’s because I stand out in a crowd and people are noticing that. Good things, awesome! Bad things? Maybe those people are just feeling insecure themselves. So whatever. People may or may not be saying nasty things about you. But is that your problem? No. It’s theirs.
