For many of us in basic, letter writing became a looked forward to event. Every Sunday would find us scribbling madly. Some of us cheated and wrote under the red lights at night, all so we could have some communication with our loved ones back home. You can always write to him, recieving letters in boot was one of our favorite things. We could only mail them on Sundays, but we received them every day. Good luck. 😀
